Christmas cards are the best!

I have found that I am really loving making Christmas cards. I have been looking online and CASEing cards I love. It is really helping me learn about design and color combos and such. I think I'm improving because of it... well, I hope so! Here is an original of mine I designed for a Christmas Stamp-a-stack. I'm rather proud of this card.

I used the Holiday Thyme designer paper from the 2006 Holiday Mini (pg 10) in this card. I am so loving that paper. Nearly every Christmas themed thing I have made so far has included this double sided paper. Everything just coordinates so well when I use it!

A Light Heart

Recently, Stampin' Up! put out a wonderful stamp set to benefit the American Heart Association called A Light Heart. My upline and I had a Stamp Camp using this set. Here are my creations...

The cool thing about the card is, I used my cutter tool for the first time. It is our cool little keychain style cutting tool. "Wow," you say unenthusiastically. But wait, the coolness exists simply in the perforating tool. You can make coupon books and other fun things like a lovely bookmark card, as seen above. "Wow!" you now say with the proper energy.
